Sister Among Suspects as Police Uncover Shocking Robbery Plot in Karachi’s Landhi

Karachi: Police have uncovered a surprising development in a robbery case at the home of a garments trader in Landhi, revealing that the victim’s sister allegedly helped plan the crime.
According to police, armed suspects entered the trader’s house, took family members hostage, confined them to a room, and blindfolded them before looting valuables worth nearly Rs17.5 million, including gold, cash, and other expensive items.
Station House Officer Qazi Salahuddin of the Landhi police station said investigations later revealed that the robbery was allegedly planned by the complainant’s sister, Uzma, along with her friend Naseem Akhtari and two other accomplices.
Police said that after the robbery, Uzma hid the stolen gold in a cupboard at her own house. The jewelry was later recovered during a raid, and the suspect was arrested.
