Mahmud Achakzai Sets Key Condition for Talks with Government

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chief Mahmud Achakzai has issued instructions to the opposition regarding negotiations.

According to sources, Mahmud Achakzai has sent a message to opposition leaders through Akhunzada Hussain, stating that if the government makes contact, a positive response should be given.

He has said that the first condition upon the government’s contact should be a meeting with the founder (Imran Khan).

Mahmud Achakzai said the government can initiate positive progress by releasing the sisters, and that if a meeting with the founder does not take place, a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would be meaningless.

He said that if a meeting with Imran Khan does not happen, refusing to meet the Prime Minister could be considered.

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has once again made a conditional offer of negotiations to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Speaking at the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the Kashmir Chowk Underpass in Islamabad, Shehbaz Sharif made a conditional offer of talks to PTI.

Addressing the opposition party PTI, the Prime Minister had said that he says again, “come to your senses.” If you end the long march, we will talk to you.

Shehbaz Sharif said the long march’s target would be the economy. Pakistan’s economy has been revived with great effort. We will not let the economy and the people suffer harm.
