Iran Grants Special Permission to Pakistani Oil Tanker to Pass Through Strait of Hormuz

Tehran: Iran has granted special permission to a Pakistani oil tanker to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, allowing the vessel to continue its journey carrying crude oil.
According to reports, a ship belonging to the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) successfully crossed the strategic waterway after receiving clearance from Iranian authorities.
The tanker’s captain, Yasir, navigated the vessel through the Strait of Hormuz while carrying crude oil. The ship is expected to anchor at the port of Karachi in two days.
Officials said the tanker is transporting more than 80 million liters of oil.
It is worth noting that Iran had kept the Strait of Hormuz closed for some time recently, which disrupted regional oil supplies and shipping routes. The special permission granted to the Pakistani vessel allowed it to safely pass through the vital maritime corridor.
