Balochistan CM Praises Sardar Yar Muhammad Rand, Calls for Tribal Unity Against BLA
Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti lauded the recent actions of Sardar Yar Muhammad Rand, describing them as a demonstration of the true strength of the province’s tribal system. In a statement on social media platform “X,” the CM emphasized that protecting one’s community and allied groups is a shared responsibility, regardless of tribal or ethnic affiliation.
Chief Minister Bugti urged all tribal leaders to follow Sardar Yar Muhammad Rand’s example to prevent Indian-backed proxy groups like the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) from gaining a foothold in Balochistan. He further highlighted that Islam promotes peace, tolerance, and the welfare of humanity, while rising Islamophobia worldwide poses a serious threat to global stability.
He described Balochistan as a land of interfaith harmony and reaffirmed the province’s commitment to counter extremism, promote moderation, and foster social tolerance to ensure a peaceful and secure environment for all communities.
