Pakistan Entering a New Technological Era with 5G Spectrum: Shaza Fatima
Islamabad: Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja said that Pakistan is entering a new technological era with the introduction of the 5G spectrum.
Speaking at the 5G spectrum auction ceremony organized by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, she stated that doors for foreign investment in Pakistan have opened and the country’s economy is gradually stabilizing. She added that technology is now being widely utilized across various sectors.
Shaza Fatima noted that the event marked the second phase of the 5G spectrum auction, highlighting the government’s commitment to advancing digital infrastructure in the country.
She emphasized that modern technology must also be adopted in the agriculture sector to improve productivity and efficiency. According to her, the time has come for industries to embrace advanced technologies to strengthen economic growth and innovation.
