Five Pakistanis Among Six Asians Arrested in Bahrain for Filming and Sharing Iran Attack Videos

Islamabad: Authorities in Bahrain have arrested six Asian nationals, including five Pakistan citizens, for allegedly recording and sharing videos related to Iranian attacks on social media, according to a statement from the Ministry of Interior Bahrain.
The arrests were made by the ministry’s Anti-Cyber Crime Directorate Bahrain. Officials said the detainees include one Bangladeshi national and five Pakistani citizens.
According to the statement, the suspects filmed and posted videos showing damage caused by the attacks attributed to Iran and circulated them on social media platforms. Authorities alleged that the content expressed sympathy for the attacks or portrayed them in a way that could be interpreted as praise, which might threaten public security and social order.
The Interior Ministry urged the public to rely only on official sources for information and to avoid sharing unverified videos or news that could spread misinformation or disturb public stability.
