JUI Promises Victory in Local Elections, Says Mayor and Deputy Mayor Will Be JUI Candidates

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily):** Senator Maulana Abdul Wasi, Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Balochistan, asserted that JUI will achieve a resounding victory in the upcoming local government elections. He stated that despite the extensive use of government machinery, the positions of Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Town Chairmen will be held by JUI representatives.

Maulana Abdul Wasi warned that attempts to repeat political engineering, similar to past general elections, are being observed in constituencies PB-7 and PB-45. He emphasized that any interference with the public mandate will not be tolerated.

He further stated that government machinery only becomes active when positions or personal interests are at stake. If any illegal, unfair, or suspicious actions are attempted, JUI workers will stand as a strong barrier and resist vigorously to protect the public’s right to vote.
