Fire Destroys 74 Brand-New Motorcycles in Karachi’s Gadap Town
Karachi: A fire broke out in a carrier truck in Gadap Town, destroying 74 brand-new motorcycles worth millions of rupees.
The incident occurred near Old Sajad Hotel in Gadap Town around 1:20 PM on Monday. The truck, carrying motorcycles from Karachi to Multan, caught fire for reasons believed to be a short circuit. Among the motorcycles destroyed were 71 GD 110S and 3 GR 150 models.
According to Gadap City SHO Sarfraz Jatoi, the truck driver and company staff, with the help of the fire brigade, managed to extinguish the fire. The driver sustained minor injuries, but fortunately, no casualties were reported.
The company has filed a report with Gadap City Police regarding the incident. Videos of the burning truck have also surfaced, showing the vehicle engulfed in flames.
