PM Shehbaz Sharif Warns Oil Prices May Rise Further Due to Middle East Conflict

Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, has warned that global oil prices may rise further in the coming days due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
In his address to the nation yesterday, the prime minister said the government is making every effort to keep the country’s economy stable despite growing regional tensions.
He also announced that the funds saved through newly introduced austerity measures will be used to provide relief to the public.
Meanwhile, the provincial governments of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan have announced key decisions aimed at controlling the energy crisis.
On the other hand, a meeting of the Sindh Cabinet is scheduled to take place today, where important decisions are also expected.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had announced several austerity measures during his national address in response to the current regional situation.
