Petrol Pump Employee Killed, Another Injured in Firing Incident in Sialkot
Armed men opened fire at a petrol pump on Hajipura Road in Sialkot, leaving one employee dead and another injured, according to police.
Police officials said the suspects had arrived at the petrol pump to refuel their vehicle. After filling their car, they demanded an additional **10 liters of petrol in a can**. However, the petrol pump management refused to provide fuel in the container.
Following the refusal, the suspects allegedly opened fire at the petrol pump staff. As a result, **one employee was killed on the spot while another sustained injuries**.
Police said the attackers managed to flee the scene while firing. Authorities have launched an investigation and are conducting a search operation to arrest the suspects.
The incident comes amid reports of **petrol shortages** in several cities across Pakistan, which have led to long queues of citizens at petrol pumps in different parts of the country.
