PKMAP Condemns Soaring Prices of Fuel, Electricity, and Essentials, Blames Government for Economic Hardship

Quetta: The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party has strongly criticized the “incompetent and imposed” government for plunging the country into economic crisis and imposing severe inflation, unemployment, and harsh policies on 25 crore citizens.
In a press release, the party highlighted that unjust collection of 350 billion rupees in taxes is worsening the plight of already struggling citizens. It warned that the nation’s international standing is at risk, internal social unrest is increasing, and domestic industries and agriculture have dropped to half their potential output. The release added that both local and foreign investors are hesitant due to insecurity, while the Pakistani rupee continues to depreciate against the dollar, signaling deep economic collapse.
The PKMAP emphasized that soaring prices of fuel, gas, electricity, and essential commodities have made daily life unbearable for ordinary people, with rising inflation and unemployment even leading to cases of suicide. Meanwhile, the government is accused of indulging in political bickering rather than addressing the crisis.
The party demanded that the “inept and imposed” government acknowledge its failures and hand over power to the people, allowing democratic and public-oriented parties to restore the country’s stability, prosperity, and development.
