Gold Prices Drop Sharply in Pakistan, Fall by Rs26,700 in Three Days

Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend for the third consecutive day, registering a significant decline in the local market.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, gold prices had already fallen by Rs23,900 over the previous two days, while on Friday the price dropped by an additional Rs2,800 per tola.

With this latest decrease, gold prices have declined by a total of Rs26,700 over the past three days, bringing the new price of gold to Rs537,162 per tola in the local market.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs2,410, reaching Rs460,529.

In the international market, gold prices dropped by $28 per ounce, bringing the new rate to $5,144 per ounce.

Silver prices also recorded a decrease in Pakistan, with the per tola price falling by Rs194 to reach Rs8,810.
