Gold Prices Skyrocket in Pakistan — Buying Gold Now Feels Like a Dream!

Karachi: Gold prices in both local and international markets surged sharply on **Saturday, October 4**, making the precious metal even more expensive for Pakistani buyers.
According to the **All Pakistan Sarafa and Jewellers Association (APSGJA)**, the price of **gold per tola** increased by **Rs 2,100**, reaching a new record of **Rs 409,878**. Similarly, the price of **10 grams of gold** rose by **Rs 1,801**, bringing it to **Rs 351,404**.
On the **international market**, gold prices also saw a notable increase of **$21 per ounce**, pushing the global rate to **$3,886 per ounce**.
Experts say the surge in gold prices reflects a growing trend among global investors turning to gold as a **safe-haven asset** amid economic uncertainty. This global rally has had a direct impact on Pakistan’s local gold market, where buyers now see gold purchases as an **unaffordable luxury**.
