**Islamabad:** According to Iranian news agencies, the funeral of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei will take place in Mashhad following a major condolence gathering in Tehran.

The condolence ceremony is scheduled to be held from today until Friday at Imam Khomeini Hall in Tehran. The exact date for the burial in Mashhad has not yet been announced.
