US Claims Advanced Fighter Jets Downed in Friendly Fire Incident in Kuwait

**Islamabad:** The United States, known for possessing some of the world’s most advanced military technology, has confirmed that three of its fighter jets were destroyed in a friendly fire incident in **Kuwait**.
According to the **United States Central Command** (CENTCOM), three US F-15E fighter aircraft crashed after being mistakenly targeted by Kuwait’s air defense system during operations against Iran.
At 11:03 p.m. ET, March 1, three U.S. F-15E Strike Eagles flying in support of Operation Epic Fury went down over Kuwait due to an apparent friendly fire incident.

CENTCOM stated that the incident occurred when the Kuwaiti air defense system inadvertently engaged the American aircraft amid heightened regional tensions. All six pilots aboard the three jets successfully ejected and were safely recovered. Officials confirmed that the pilots are in good health, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the incident.
Earlier, the **Ministry of Defense of Kuwait** had confirmed that multiple US aircraft had gone down. In a statement shared on social media, the ministry said that while several American fighter jets crashed, their pilots remained safe.
Kuwaiti authorities added that search and rescue operations were launched immediately after the incident, and the crew members were transported to a hospital following their recovery.
