No Room for External Interference in Pak-Afghan Relations, Immediate Ceasefire Needed: Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari

**Quetta:** Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Secretary General of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, has called for an immediate ceasefire between Pakistan and Afghanistan, warning that unilateral military actions do not solve problems but instead escalate tensions.
He urged both brotherly Islamic nations to act responsibly and prioritize restraint. Maulana Haidari stressed that countries seeking regional peace should play a constructive diplomatic role, while global powers, particularly the United States, should refrain from exploiting divisions for their own interests.
Highlighting the need for Muslim unity, he said that the Muslim world must identify its real adversaries, as unity is the need of the hour. He also condemned ongoing atrocities in Gaza by Israel, calling for a coordinated strategy by Muslim nations.
Maulana Haidari further warned that India should avoid interference, emphasizing that there is no place for external actors in Pakistan-Afghanistan relations.
