National Party Calls for Strong, Principled Leadership to Protect Balochistan’s Resources and Sovereignty

Quetta: Chingiz Haie Baloch, Provincial General Secretary of the National Party (NP), along with Central Committee members including Chairman Mehrab Baloch, Dr. Ramzan-ul-Mubarak Hazara, and Ayoz Kashmand, addressed a public gathering on Mariabad Alamdar Road, urging the people of Balochistan to support the party in the upcoming local government elections.
Speaking at the event, Chingiz Haie Baloch emphasized that Balochistan is rich in resources but has been deprived of true political leadership due to the exploitative mindset of a select elite. “For years, powerful forces have undermined democracy and suppressed public opinion, imposing artificial political leadership on Balochistan. This has turned the province into a political laboratory,” he said.
He added that the National Party prioritizes the strength of democratic institutions and respects the voice of the people. He urged all communities in Balochistan to unite and actively participate in NP’s efforts to establish strong, principled leadership that can safeguard the province’s coastlines, resources, and sovereignty.
Changiz Haie Baloch warned voters to prevent artificial representatives from taking office and stressed that NP’s candidates should be elected in local government elections to ensure accountability and protect citizens’ rights. “Just like in the 2024 general elections, there are attempts to manipulate public opinion, but the Hazara community is aware and will vote thoughtfully for NP’s nominated candidates,” he said.
The leaders concluded the gathering with a rally, attended by a large number of citizens, urging people to stamp the NP’s election symbol, the plough, on December 28 and send genuine political workers to local councils to defend the rights and interests of all Balochistan communities.
