Registrar Office Raises Objections on PTI Founder’s Al-Shifa Hospital Transfer Petition

Islamabad: The Registrar Office has raised two objections on a miscellaneous petition regarding the transfer of the PTI founder to Al-Shifa International Hospital.
The Registrar Office stated that the petition, filed without an Advocate-on-Record, is not maintainable under Supreme Court Rules 2025 and cannot be heard.
The objections noted that a February 12 order by the Supreme Court of Pakistan had directed the petitioner to approach the High Court for redress.
The first objection highlighted that the Toshakhana criminal reference case is currently pending in the Islamabad High Court, while the second pointed out that the petition was not filed through an Advocate-on-Record as required.
Based on these grounds, the Registrar Office declared the miscellaneous petition inadmissible and returned it.
