Armed Forces Fully Prepared to Counter All Threats, Say Military Chiefs on 7th Anniversary of Operation Swift Retort

Islamabad: The chiefs of Pakistan’s armed forces have reaffirmed their resolve to counter all forms of threats as the nation marked the seventh anniversary of Operation Swift Retort.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), special messages were issued by the service chiefs, including the Field Marshal, on the completion of seven years of the operation.

The military leadership paid tribute to the courage, professionalism, and sacrifices of the armed forces personnel, stating that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to confront any kind of threat.

The message emphasized that the Pakistan Army will continue to ensure the country’s defense while playing an active role in promoting global peace.

ISPR noted that Operation Swift Retort, carried out on February 27, 2019, was a decisive response to Indian aggression. The statement said the operation once again demonstrated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty and showcased the operational readiness and capability of its armed forces.

According to the military leadership, the operation effectively deterred aggression and restored strategic balance in the region.
