Suicide Attack at Bhakkar Checkpost Claims Lives of 2 Police Officers

Islamabad (Qudrat Roznama) – A suicide attack occurred at the inter-provincial checkpost in Dajal, Bhakkar district of Punjab, resulting in the deaths of two police officers and injuries to another.

According to details, the attack targeted the Dajal checkpost along the provincial border. Police personnel on duty came under the blast, leaving Constables Faheem Abbas and Shehbaz Madani martyred, while Constable Arshad was injured.

Following the incident, security forces swiftly reached the site, and rescue teams transported the injured and the deceased to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Bhakkar.

Punjab Inspector General Abdul Kareem paid tribute to the ultimate sacrifice of Constables Faheem Abbas and Shehbaz Madani and extended condolences to their grieving families. He also directed that Constable Arshad receive the best possible medical treatment for his injuries.
