Witnesses Who Benefited from Faiziab Now Ready to Testify Against Retired General Faiz Hamid: Zahid Gishkori

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Veteran journalist Zahid Gishkori has stated that many individuals who once benefited from retired General Faiz Hamid, also known as “Faiziab,” are now standing in line to testify against him.
In a tweet, Gishkori wrote, “Since 2015, I have observed monthly gatherings of prominent personalities at General Faiz’s residence in Latifal. Whether it was building sprawling farmhouses, importing Australian cows, opening international brand schools, or bringing exotic birds and Arabian horses, top businessmen and politicians would queue up. During my investigative story on Ring Road, I received a direct message from General Faiz requesting details — my first direct contact with him.”
He further noted, “At the time of General Faiz’s mother’s death, the elite from across the country gathered in Latifal. I saw the Senate Chairman, Chief Justice, anchors, lawyers, politicians, the Speaker, the President, and even the Prime Minister praising him. Circumstances have changed, and today those who once benefited from General (R) Faiz are lining up to give testimony against him.”
Gishkori emphasized that the accountability process must be impartial. “If it begins at the top, it is imperative that all implicated individuals in this system are held accountable as soon as possible. To move this state forward, the time is now — if not now, then never.”
