Three-Year-Old Girl Killed, Two Injured in Oil Tanker Collision Near Korangi Crossing Bridge

Karachi: A tragic road accident near Korangi Crossing Bridge in Karachi claimed the life of a three-year-old girl and left two others injured after an oil tanker collided with a motorcycle.

According to rescue officials, the deceased child, identified as Sahira, was riding on the motorcycle along with her one-year-old brother, Subhan, and their uncle, Raj Muhammad, at the time of the incident. Police confirmed that Subhan and Raj Muhammad sustained injuries in the crash.

Authorities stated that the children’s father works as a laborer in Karachi and the family originally belongs to Gilgit-Baltistan. The children were reportedly on their way to buy juice with their uncle when the accident occurred.

Police said a speeding oil tanker hit the motorcycle near Korangi Crossing. Local residents immediately intervened and managed to apprehend the tanker driver, handing him over to Zaman Town Police.

The oil tanker has been taken into custody and shifted to the police station. Legal proceedings are currently underway.
