Snowfall in Ziarat and Surrounding Areas of Balochistan Brings Cold Weather

Quetta:Snowfall in the valleys of Ziarat and surrounding areas of Balochistan has brought a sharp drop in temperatures. In Ziarat city, up to 3 inches of snow has accumulated.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy snowfall in the upper areas of Chaman, Qilla Abdullah, and Pishin is likely to disrupt communication routes.

The department also reported that Chaman and its surrounding areas experienced heavy rainfall, causing flooding in low-lying areas. As a result, an emergency has been imposed on the N-25 Chaman-Quetta-Karachi highway.
