Saudi Arabia: Good News for Pilgrims Visiting Madinah as Three New Hotels Open

Madinah: In a major boost to hospitality services for visitors, Saudi Minister of Tourism Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb has inaugurated three new hotels in Medina, enhancing accommodation options for pilgrims and tourists.

The newly opened hotels include Radisson Hotel Madinah, Peninsula Warth Hotel, and Diyar Ajwa Hotel.

According to reports, the inauguration is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Madinah’s hospitality infrastructure and improve readiness to استقبال visitors throughout the year. The initiative aims to enhance service quality while expanding capacity for the growing number of pilgrims visiting the holy city.

Speaking on the occasion, Al-Khateeb said the Kingdom is working to introduce more international brands to Madinah, ensuring high-quality hotel services and creating broader employment opportunities in the tourism sector. He also toured the newly opened facilities and reviewed the services being offered.

The minister highlighted that the hotels have been equipped to provide premium services, including special arrangements for people with disabilities, ensuring a comfortable and high-standard stay for guests.

Reports indicate that the Diyar Ajwa Hotel, operating under the umbrella of Hilton, comprises 221 rooms, while Peninsula Warth Hotel offers 560 rooms and Radisson Hotel features 165 rooms.

Meanwhile, Tourism Development Fund CEO Qusai bin Abdullah Al-Fakhri stated that the new hotels will significantly increase accommodation capacity, generate employment opportunities, and contribute to improving the overall quality of life in Madinah.
