Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi Appointed to Deliver Hajj 2026 Sermon

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily): An important announcement has been made by the authorities of the Two Holy Mosques regarding the Hajj 2026 sermon, confirming that renowned Imam and Khateeb of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi, will deliver this year’s Hajj sermon.
The announcement has gained special significance for millions of pilgrims around the world preparing for Hajj.
According to details, Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi will deliver the Hajj sermon at Masjid al-Namirah on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, corresponding to 9 Dhul-Hijjah 1447 AH. On the same day, pilgrims will perform Wuquf-e-Arafat, the most important ritual of Hajj, as millions gather in the plains of Arafat.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques officially confirmed that Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi was selected due to his scholarly stature, religious services, and globally admired style of Quranic recitation.
Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi has served not only as Imam of Masjid-e-Nabawi but has also previously led prayers at Quba Mosque and Masjid al-Haram. He is widely regarded as one of the most distinguished Quran reciters and influential religious personalities in the Muslim world.
Saudi authorities have also announced that Eid al-Adha is expected to be observed on May 27, 2026, while the major Hajj rituals will conclude with Wuquf-e-Arafat on May 26.
The announcement has further enhanced the spiritual excitement and devotion associated with the upcoming Hajj season among Muslims worldwide.
