Karachi: Fee for Premium Vehicle Registration Numbers Set Up to PKR 2 Million

Karachi: The Sindh Excise and Taxation Department has announced that fees for acquiring preferred vehicle registration numbers have been set, with a maximum limit of PKR 2 million.

According to the notification, vehicle owners who wish to obtain their preferred registration numbers can do so by paying the approved fees. Numbers such as 786 and 110 will cost PKR 2 million each.

Three-digit numbers ranging from 111 to 999 will carry a fee of PKR 1 million per number, while three-digit numbers from 100 to 900 will be available for PKR 500,000. Numbers from 001 to 009 will also require a payment of PKR 500,000.

Other choice numbers will be available for a fee of PKR 300,000.
