Woman Arrested Attempting to Smuggle 4.48 kg of Cocaine from Sharjah to Islamabad

Islamabad: In a joint Pakistan-Qatar operation, authorities foiled an attempt to smuggle 4.48 kilograms of cocaine at Islamabad Airport.
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), in coordination with Qatari officials, apprehended a Pakistani female passenger traveling from Sharjah via Doha to Islamabad. A thorough search of her trolley bag revealed 4.48 kg of cocaine, skillfully concealed inside.
During interrogation, the suspect disclosed that her handler, connected to the intended recipient, was present at the airport. Acting promptly, the ANF conducted a follow-up operation and arrested the handler along with his vehicle.
