Imran Khan’s One Eye Perfect, Other at 70% with Glasses: Law Minister

Lahore: Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarrar has stated that Imran Khan, the founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has 6/6 vision in one eye, while the other eye has 70% vision with the aid of glasses.

Speaking at a ceremony of the Shikohra Bar Council, Tarrar emphasized the importance of cooperation between the bar and the bench for the delivery of justice and said that addressing lawyers’ concerns remains a priority. He also highlighted that under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership, difficult decisions are producing positive results, and the economy is moving in the right direction.

Tarrar stressed the need for political stability to ensure economic stability and reiterated Pakistan’s sovereignty over all four provinces, as well as Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. He criticized the closure of motorways and the GT Road as unconstitutional and warned the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to comply with the law, stating that the federal government may take action if roads are not reopened.

Regarding Imran Khan’s health, Tarrar said that a medical team has expressed full satisfaction with the ongoing treatment, and briefings have been provided to opposition leaders and the former Prime Minister’s personal doctors. He confirmed that one of Imran Khan’s eyes has 6/6 vision while the other functions at 70% with corrective lenses.

The statement comes after a detailed medical examination of Imran Khan by specialists from PIMS and Al-Shifa International at Adiala Jail. Earlier, lawyer Salman Safdar had informed the Supreme Court that Imran Khan’s vision was reduced to 15%. The Supreme Court had directed a detailed medical report to be submitted by February 16.
