Significant Progress in Backchannel Contacts Between Government Figure and Barrister Gohar and Allama Nasir Regarding PTI’s Long March

Lahore (Qudrat Daily) – According to a report by journalist Naeem Ashraf Butt, significant progress has been made in backchannel contacts between a government figure and Barrister Gohar and Allama Nasir regarding PTI’s long march. According to Naeem Ashraf Butt’s report on X, important developments have emerged in behind-the-scenes negotiations between opposition and government figures regarding PTI’s long march. A key federal figure has made contact with Barrister Gohar and Allama Nasir, and both sides have considered finding a middle ground regarding the long march.

According to government sources, a “line has been drawn” for PTI — that it should not go beyond a certain point. PTI has been told that wherever the long march is stopped, it should halt peacefully at that point. In particular, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has received strict messages from founder Imran Khan.


He is displeased with the Chief Minister, and there is also pressure from workers on him. Due to pressure from workers, he will be given face-saving. PTI leadership does not want to postpone the long march under pressure from workers.

In this regard, negotiations between both sides will take place again during the long march, and a decision will be made on how long the long march will last. A key federal figure has made contact with Barrister Gohar and Allama Nasir, and on this occasion, KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was also on board.

On the other hand, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gohar has said that they want their march to take place and also remain peaceful. In his statement, Barrister Gohar said that a government clique is running propaganda regarding our long march, claiming that we will attack institutions. This government clique that is building this narrative must be dealt with. The PTI Chairman said that we know whom we need to talk to; talks should happen, but unfortunately, talks are not happening right now. Political issues must be resolved through political solutions.
