PTI Rejects Medical Examination of Imran Khan at Adiala Jail

**Islamabad** – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has rejected the medical examination of its founder, Imran Khan, conducted at Adiala Jail, stating that the check-up was carried out without the presence of his family and personal physicians.

In a statement, a PTI spokesperson said the party does not accept any medical examination conducted in the absence of Khan’s family members and private doctors. The spokesperson termed the request for party leadership to be present during the examination as an attempt to divert attention from the core issue.

The statement emphasized that decisions regarding sensitive medical matters rest with Khan’s family and not with the party leadership. It added that the family cannot make any decision until his personal doctors are allowed access to him.

PTI further demanded that Khan’s private physicians be granted immediate access and that a meeting between him and his family be arranged without delay.

It is worth noting that Khan’s detailed eye examination was recently completed at Adiala Jail under the supervision of a medical board. The check-up was conducted under strict security arrangements. According to sources, the five-member medical team, along with technicians, left the jail after completing the examination and will submit a detailed report to the government.
