FIA Arrests Three Suspects in Illegal Currency Exchange Case, Seizes Large Sum

Karachi: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Commercial Banking Circle in Karachi has arrested three individuals involved in illegal currency exchange activities.

According to an FIA spokesperson, the arrested suspects—Bakhtawar Khan, Farman, and Noman—were apprehended from the Zamzama area of Karachi.

The suspects were reportedly running a currency exchange business without a valid license. During the operation, authorities recovered USD 15,000 and PKR 485,000 from their possession. In addition, mobile phones and other evidence related to the illegal currency exchange were also seized.

The FIA confirmed that investigations are underway, and raids are being conducted to apprehend other associates involved in the illegal activities.
