Alima Khan Alleges PTI Founder’s Eye Condition Ignored in Jail for Three Months
Islamabad (Qudrat Roznama) – Alima Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, has alleged that authorities ignored her brother’s deteriorating eye condition for weeks while he was in Adiala Jail. She stated that the PTI founder will receive treatment at Shifa Hospital under the supervision of his personal doctors.
During a press conference in Islamabad, Alima Khan said, “Today my heart shook. We did not treat a person who has been in jail for two and a half years properly. Superintendent Adiala Jail Abdul Ghafoor Anjum was informed three months ago about the eye problem, yet nothing was done.”
She further alleged that for the past two weeks, surveillance cameras clearly showed that Imran Khan had lost vision, yet no action was taken. “For three months, they did not inform us that his eyesight could worsen,” she said.
Alima Khan added that if justice had been served, the PTI founder would not be in jail. She urged authorities to ensure immediate treatment within the next two days and criticized false claims about transferring him to Bani Gala. “The PTI founder has made it clear that he will not bow down before them,” she emphasized.
