Saudi Arabia Deported the Highest Number of Pakistanis Last Year, NA Told

Islamabad: Saudi Arabia deported the highest number of Pakistani nationals among Gulf countries last year, according to details presented in the National Assembly by the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis.

The ministry informed the House that a total of 38,500 Pakistanis were deported from Gulf countries in 2025. Of these, 27,692 were deported from Saudi Arabia, followed by 6,794 from the United Arab Emirates, 2,537 from Oman, 786 from Bahrain, 644 from Qatar, and 163 from Kuwait.

The report further revealed that 6,939 proclaimed offenders were deported from Gulf states, while 4,872 Pakistanis were sent back for illegal entry or overstaying their visas. Around 2,500 Pakistani prisoners were also deported after serving jail terms.

Additionally, 1,639 individuals were deported after being blacklisted, 1,125 on drug-related charges, 936 for visa violations, 190 for theft, and 780 for begging. Some 332 were deported for violating immigration laws, 15 through Interpol, while over 14,000 were repatriated for other unspecified reasons.
