One Killed, Two Injured in Firing by Unknown Gunmen in Wadh

WADH: One person was killed and two others were injured when unknown armed assailants opened fire in Wadh on Monday, police said.

According to police, the attackers fired at people sitting at a hotel in the area. As a result, Muhammad Jan, son of Sahib Khan and a member of the Shahezai Mengal tribe, was killed on the spot, while Mujeeb ur Rehman and Nasrullah sustained injuries.

Police shifted the body and the injured to a hospital, where the deceased was handed over to his heirs after completion of legal formalities. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.

Following the incident, the situation in Wadh has become tense, with fear and panic prevailing among local residents.
