Former NFL Player Arrested in Connection with Girlfriend’s Murder

ISLAMABAD (Qudrat Roznama): A former National Football League (NFL) player has been arrested in connection with the murder of his girlfriend.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, 31-year-old Darren Lee was taken into custody on February 5 in relation to the death of his girlfriend, whose identity has not been disclosed.

The sheriff’s office stated that on February 5, officers were dispatched to a residence in Olteva following a CPR report. First responders found a female victim at the scene who was pronounced dead despite resuscitation attempts. Darren Lee, identified by the sheriff’s office as the victim’s boyfriend, was present at the location.

Based on the victim’s condition and other evidence at the scene, a detective from the sheriff’s office was called in to conduct an investigation. Preliminary findings have classified the death as a homicide, prompting Darren Lee’s arrest.

Darren Lee previously played in the NFL, representing Ohio State University and the New York Jets during his career.
