Section 144 Enforced in Quetta, Complete Ban on Strikes and Road Blockades

QUETTA: The district administration has enforced Section 144 in Quetta and across Balochistan to maintain law and order, protect lives and property, and ensure the continuity of daily life.
According to official orders, all forms of strikes, including wheel-jam and shutter-down strikes, as well as the forced closure of shops and road blockades, are strictly prohibited during the enforcement of Section 144. Authorities have made it clear that no kind of strike will be allowed under any circumstances.
The administration warned that individuals, organizations, or facilitators found violating Section 144 will face strict legal action. Those responsible will be arrested and detained under the Maintenance of Public Order (3 MPO) law.
Quetta Police have appealed to citizens to cooperate with law enforcement agencies, avoid paying heed to rumors, and play a positive role in maintaining peace and stability in the city. The police reiterated their commitment to ensuring the safety of the public and protecting lives and property at all costs.
