Bilal Saeed Releases Special Song for Basant, Music Video Goes Viral

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – Ahead of the three-day Basant festival in Lahore, the Punjab government has released a special song to celebrate the occasion. Sung by renowned artist Bilal Saeed, the new track *“Phir Aayi Basant”* has quickly gone viral.
The music video features model and actor Nabeel Zuberi, along with food blogger Ali Rehman, and was shot at several historic locations in Lahore. The release aims to capture the festive spirit of Basant, a traditional kite-flying festival celebrated with color and enthusiasm.
The three-day Basant festivities will begin on February 6 in Lahore. Due to security concerns near Lahore Airport, celebrations in some areas have been restricted. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced that Basant celebrations will be held at Liberty Chowk on February 7.
The Punjab administration has also declared a public holiday on February 6 and 7 across the province. Preparations in Lahore are at their peak, with the city adorned in colors and lights. The provincial cabinet had previously approved the preparation of kite-flying materials not only in Lahore but also in four other districts, while full-proof security arrangements have been put in place to ensure public safety during the festival.
