Shab-e-Barat Observed Across Pakistan with Devotion and Prayers

The night of blessings and forgiveness, **Shab-e-Barat**, was observed across the country with deep religious devotion and respect.
Special prayers were held in mosques and homes, where people remained engaged throughout the night in offering **Nawafil (voluntary prayers), recitation of the Holy Quran, and other religious rituals**. Prayers were offered for the **security of the country, prosperity of the nation, unity of the Muslim Ummah, freedom of Kashmir and Palestine, and forgiveness of the deceased**.
A large number of citizens visited graveyards to pray for their loved ones, recited the Holy Quran, and performed **Fateha and Esal-e-Sawab** for departed souls.
Sindh Governor **Kamran Tessori** also visited graveyards late at night, inspected various welfare stalls set up there, and offered special prayers for the peace and stability of Pakistan.
Religious scholars described the **15th night of Sha’ban** as one of great virtues, stating that on this night, by the will of Allah Almighty, decisions regarding sustenance, life, and death for the coming year are recorded. They emphasized that worship performed on this night carries immense reward and provides a special opportunity to seek closeness to Allah.
