Islamabad Traffic Police Issue Traffic Advisory for February 3

**Islamabad (Qudrat):** Islamabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory for February 3, 2026, to inform citizens about possible traffic congestion and alternative routes in the federal capital.

According to a spokesperson for the Islamabad Traffic Police, traffic diversions will be placed at various locations on the Expressway, Murree Road, and Club Road between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Due to these diversions, an increase in traffic pressure is expected on the Islamabad Expressway and Faisal Avenue.

The advisory states that citizens traveling from Rawalpindi to Islamabad are advised to use Rawal Road, Ninth Avenue, Fakhar-e-Afghan (Faqir Aipi) Road, and Srinagar Highway. Similarly, commuters heading from Islamabad to Rawalpindi should travel via Zero Point and Srinagar Highway to access Ninth Avenue.

For those commuting between Murree or Bhara Kahu and Islamabad, Korang Road, Bani Gala, Park Road, and Lehtrar Road have been recommended as alternative routes. Meanwhile, travelers going from Serena and Bhara Kahu towards Rawalpindi are advised to use Park Road and Khanna Road.

The spokesperson added that citizens can contact the traffic helpline 1915 or emergency helpline 15 for real-time updates and guidance. The advisory further stated that Islamabad Traffic Police officers will remain deployed on roads to facilitate and guide commuters.
