Those Who Stay Silent Are Not Weak, They Are Waiting for the Right Time: Alizeh Shah
Karachi: Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah, who has frequently been at the center of controversies, has responded to her critics by saying that silence should not be mistaken for weakness, but rather patience for the right time.
Alizeh Shah is often accused of highlighting controversies to gain attention or cash in on them. However, the actress has rejected these allegations in a video shared on the photo and video-sharing platform Instagram.
The actress, who stepped into showbiz as a child artist, achieved remarkable fame in a short span due to her beauty and strong acting skills. Her notable dramas include Ehd-e-Wafa, Dil Mom Ka Diya, Ishq Tamasha, Mera Dil Mera Dushman, Taqdeer, Mohabbat Ki Aakhri Kahani, Khel, Ishq Beparwah, and Tana Bana, among others.
Recently, Alizeh Shah shared a video on Instagram in which she informed fans about her upcoming projects and also explained why she repeatedly spoke out against Shazia Manzoor and Yasir Nawaz.
She said that people might think she is posting another video to seek attention, but her purpose was to show the scripts of her upcoming dramas to prove that she is not short of work. Alizeh added that after what she went through over the past five years, she needed a break from dramas. She revealed that her manager had advised her not to speak about these incidents, warning that it could further damage her reputation. However, she claimed that everything was done deliberately, alleging that the manager was handling multiple artists simultaneously and taking money from other actors as well.
Explaining her stance against actor and director Yasir Nawaz, Alizeh Shah said that if someone has a bad experience, it can be mentioned once or twice, but taking her name repeatedly on various programs for the past five years without explaining the reason or presenting any evidence was unfair.
Talking about singer Shazia Manzoor, the actress said she does not understand why some people refuse to admit their mistakes. Addressing the singer, she stated that while she did not object to being pushed, Shazia Manzoor had displayed similar behavior with other hosts, models, and individuals on stage as well. Alizeh claimed she has evidence showing repeated attempts to belittle her, including resharing a post about her fall with the caption “Kuch yaad aaya?” She further alleged that after her incident, Shazia Manzoor repeated similar behavior with almost every digital content creator, anchor, and model on her TV show, calling it intentional rather than accidental.
Alizeh Shah added that if one searches for Shazia Manzoor online, videos of her pushing others appear prominently. She clarified that posting such videos does not mean she seeks attention, stating that if attention were her goal, she could have started a YouTube channel. She emphasized that she has no time to expose anyone as several projects are already in the pipeline.
The actress is receiving widespread appreciation and support from fans for speaking openly and sharing her side of the story.
