From Childhood Friends to Life Partners: Sajjad Ali Celebrates Wedding Anniversary with Rare Throwback Photo
Karachi: Renowned Pakistani singer Sajjad Ali delighted fans by sharing a rare childhood photograph with his wife, Noreen, on the occasion of their wedding anniversary, reflecting on a journey that began with childhood friendship and blossomed into a lifelong marriage.
The singer posted the 1989 photograph on social media, showing himself and Noreen as children. Alongside the image, he wrote, “How it all started and where we are now. Happy wedding anniversary to us. Who would have thought this in childhood?”
The nostalgic post also featured the lyrics “Tum Naraz Ho” on one side of the picture and “Mere Kitne Paas Ho” on the other, referencing one of Sajjad Ali’s popular songs.
Sajjad Ali, one of Pakistan’s most celebrated singers since the 1990s, hails from Karachi and belongs to a family of musicians. His two brothers are also well-known singers, and the three are often recognized for their remarkably similar vocal styles.
The couple’s daughter, Zoe Ali, has also followed in her father’s footsteps and has earned recognition as a singer, including appearances on Coke Studio Pakistan.
