Seven-Day Polio Vaccination Campaign Begins Today in Karachi and Balochistan

A seven-day anti-polio vaccination campaign will begin today in Karachi, aiming to immunize more than 2.1 million children under the age of five.

Health authorities have stated that polio drops will be administered to children across the city as part of ongoing efforts to eradicate the virus.

In addition to Karachi, a province-wide anti-polio campaign is also launching today in Balochistan. During the campaign, more than 2.6 million children are targeted to receive polio vaccination drops.

Officials said that around 11,000 vaccination teams will take part in the campaign across Balochistan to ensure maximum coverage and protection for children against polio.
