Jemima Goldsmith Brings Sons Qasim and Suleman Back to London, Prevents Their Return to Pakistan Amid Security Concerns

Islamabad:Jemima Goldsmith, the ex-wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has called her sons Qasim and Suleman back to London from the United States, citing increasing security risks posed by their relatives in Pakistan. The children were previously planning to return to Pakistan, but Jemima has prevented this, fearing potential threats from Imran Khan’s sisters and other relatives.

According to private TV channel GNN, PTI leadership expressed deep disappointment regarding the cold reception the two sons received during their stay in the U.S. PTI groups, including American affiliates, did not give the brothers the expected attention, and tensions between factions of PTI in the U.S. have reportedly led to blame-shifting for the failed visit.

Sources revealed that messages were sent to Jemima by people she knows within PTI, advising her that Qasim and Suleman faced greater risks from their paternal relatives than from Pakistani authorities or security agencies. These relatives, including Imran Khan’s sisters, have reportedly never accepted Jemima as a part of their family and have shown little affection for her children.

The sources further claimed that PTI’s leadership had high hopes tied to Qasim and Suleman’s potential return to Pakistan, expecting them to serve as a unifying force. However, as the situation deteriorated, PTI members have become disillusioned and are now expressing frustration over the lack of progress.

In addition, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and other senior officials have openly expressed their discouragement. The fear that a significant number of federal and provincial assembly members might be arrested in the coming days has reportedly left the leadership in a state of anxiety and distress.
