Dubai Announces World’s First “Gold Street” in Dubai Gold District

**Islamabad (Daily Qudrat Islamabad):**
Dubai has unveiled a groundbreaking and globally attention-grabbing project—the construction of the world’s first “Gold Street” within the Dubai Gold District, according to Arab media reports.
The Gold District, already under development, is set to become a landmark hub for gold and jewelry trade, combining retail, wholesale, investment, and the full value chain of the jewelry industry under one roof. Over 1,000 retailers, including internationally renowned brands, are expected to operate in the district.
Gold Street itself will be designed using gold elements, aiming to create a memorable and luxurious experience for tourists and buyers from around the world. The initiative is intended not just as an aesthetic attraction but to position Dubai as the most unique and modern global hub for gold and jewelry trade.
The Gold District is also expected to become a major tourist destination, with at least six hotels providing more than 1,000 rooms to accommodate international visitors.
The UAE exported gold worth approximately $53.41 billion last year, making it the world’s second-largest physical gold trading hub, with key trade partners including Switzerland, the United Kingdom, India, Hong Kong, and Turkey.
Dubai’s Gold Street project aims to reinforce the city’s position as a premier global destination for gold trade, luxury shopping, and tourism.
