SMS Notification Service Launched for Litigants and Lawyers in Federal Constitutional Court
Skardu/Islamabad: The Federal Constitutional Court has introduced an SMS notification service for litigants and lawyers as part of efforts to enhance transparency and convenience in judicial proceedings.
According to an official statement, information regarding case registration and hearing dates will now be communicated through SMS alerts, ensuring timely updates are delivered directly to mobile phones.
The court said the new service is expected to reduce unnecessary absences from court hearings by keeping parties informed in advance. The SMS facility will be available for both existing and newly filed cases.
With the launch of this service, the Federal Constitutional Court has entered a new phase of digital reforms, emphasizing the effective use of modern technology to improve the efficiency and accessibility of the judicial system.
