PDMAs Ongoing Snow-Clearing Operations on National Highways to Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily):** The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) is actively engaged in clearing snow from the national highways connecting Balochistan to Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ensuring safe passage for travelers.
PDMA personnel, using heavy machinery, are removing snow from key points including Kan Mehtarzai, Lukpas, and Kojak Top. The snow-clearing operations have been intensified during the night to maintain smooth traffic flow, according to PDMA Director Faisal Tariq.
Snowfall and rainfall continue across various districts of Balochistan, prompting authorities to issue high alerts in advance to ensure timely emergency response. Director Faisal Tariq urged the public to avoid unnecessary travel on national highways and assured that emergency response centers at Quetta and Kan Mehtarzai remain operational 24/7.
Relief teams have already been dispatched to snow-affected districts to provide assistance and respond to any emergency situations. PDMA emphasized that the safety of travelers and residents remains a top priority during ongoing adverse weather conditions.
