Woman Killed, Two Injured as Armed Assailants Open Fire on Taxi in Jhal Magsi

**Jhal Magsi (Daily Qudrat Quetta):** One woman was killed and two others, including a six-year-old girl, were injured when unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate fire on a taxi car on the Gandawah–Notal Road in Jhal Magsi district.

The incident occurred in the Pat Kalarah area within the jurisdiction of Mirpur police station. According to initial reports, the attackers fired multiple shots at the taxi, causing panic in the area.

The deceased woman was identified as the wife of Qurban Ali Arain, who succumbed to her injuries during treatment. The injured included another woman, identified as the wife of Fazalullah, and her six-year-old daughter, Iqra Parveen, who sustained serious injuries.

The body of the deceased and the injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Gandawah for medico-legal procedures and treatment. Following the incident, fear and tension spread across the locality.

After receiving information, prominent political and social figure Syed Safdar Akbar Ali Shah Hussaini reached the hospital to express solidarity with the victims’ family. Police have cordoned off the area, set up roadblocks, and launched a search operation to arrest the attackers.
