Politics Held Hostage and Border Closures Leave Millions in Balochistan Without a Night Meal; Government Policies Have Plunged the Province into Economic Ruin: Dr. Malik Baloch
Extremism and Unrest Have Reached Their Peak; Current Rulers Have Failed to Control the Crises; Agreement on a Joint Political Course of Action and Convening an All-Parties Conference

QUETTA (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — Former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Maulana Sirajul Haq, along with a delegation, met National Party head Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch at Muhammad Shahi House Quetta. Present at the meeting were National Party Central Secretary General Mir Kabir Muhammad Shahi, Provincial President and Chairman Aslam Baloch, Central Senior Vice President Mir Shahwas Bizenjo, Khair Bakhsh Baloch, Miran Bakhsh Baloch, and Mashkoor Anwar. The Jamaat-e-Islami delegation included Provincial General Secretary Ghulam Murtaza Kakar, Provincial Deputy Ameers Zaid Akhtar, Abdul Kabir Shakir, and Hafiz Noor Ali. The leaders agreed that harmony among political parties in Balochistan is essential, and the worst conditions in Balochistan demand that democratic parties play their political role. Politics across the country, especially in Balochistan, is completely held hostage, due to which extremism and unrest are at their peak. Due to the closure of all borders linked to Balochistan, millions of people are being left without a night meal; the border closures will create a gas consumption crisis across the country and a food items crisis in Iran. The leaders agreed that in the current situation, contact among political parties is essential, and these issues must be highlighted by holding all-parties conferences; for this, the role of senior political leaders of Balochistan and former chief ministers of Balochistan is important.
