Court Rejects Physical Remand of Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha, Sends Them to Jail on 14-Day Judicial Remand

**Islamabad:** An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has rejected the police request for a seven-day physical remand of Iman Zainab Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha in a case registered at Secretariat Police Station.
The case (FIR No. 72/25) was heard by Special Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court, Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain. During the hearing, Investigation Officer Inspector Nadeem Mughal sought physical remand of the accused for investigation and recovery purposes. However, after examining the available record, the court declared the physical remand unnecessary and ordered that both accused be sent to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.
According to the court order, Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha are to be produced before the court again on February 6, 2026.
During the proceedings, former federal minister Shireen Mazari raised objections, stating that the lawyers of the accused were not allowed to enter the courtroom at the time of their appearance.
