Religious Education Brings Blessings; Muslims’ Humiliation Result of Their Own Conduct, Says Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta):** Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani, leader of Jamiat, emphasized the importance of religious education, stating that it provides understanding of human existence and the purpose of creation, and that institutions dedicated to religious teaching hold great virtue.
He made these remarks while addressing the annual **Dastar Bandi** ceremony organized by Madrassa Darul Uloom Zarghoonabad Nawan Kali, Gulshan-e-Sadiq-e-Akbar. Maulana Sherani stated that every creation has a purpose determined by its Creator, and acknowledging Allah as the Creator and ruler of the universe guides individuals on how to manage their lives, wealth, and actions according to divine teachings.
He explained that true human identity is rooted in connection and empathy, which is achieved when speech, heart, actions, and intentions align with the welfare of others. Maulana Sherani warned that a lack of moral and spiritual unity in individuals leads to distrust, fear, and behaviors resembling animals—weak people fall prey to fear and greed, while the powerful resort to oppression.
He further stated that the humiliation, subjugation, and suffering of Muslims are consequences of their own character and actions, and that dignity cannot be restored until personal and collective conduct is reformed. According to him, every state of being is the result of actions, and outcomes are determined by Allah’s laws.
The event featured renowned Quran reciters from African countries, including Sheikh Eidi Shaban, Sheikh Firdan Adam, and Mufti Shahabuddin, who delivered exemplary recitations. The ceremony concluded with a lavish dinner hosted by Qari Muḥammad Naqeebullah, head of Madrassa Darul Uloom Zarghoonabad, in honor of the attendees.
